Dear family,
Thanks for all your letters guys. It's always good to hear from you.
Hermano M is doing really well. He's basically the most active member of the branch now. He said something
pretty funny in one of our lessons the other day. He said he really like the
idea of temple work for the dead because with the living, it's so much
harder. But notwithstanding that it's harder, he's really working
hard as far missionary work goes. He's got his neighbors reading the Book of
Mormon. He's inviting to church. He gives away all the pamflets and DVDs that
we give him. His desire to help others to come unto Christ, both the living and
the dead, is evidence of his conversion.
Yesterday we talked to a man
in the street that's called G. he said it would be fine for us to visit
him. He then asked us where our church was. We told him, then asked if he
wanted to come. He was just like, "I would like to," as if he just
been waiting for us to ask. We passed by for him in the morning before church,
and he was all ready, just waiting for us. He stayed all three hours,
participated in the classes, and said he had a really good experience. He
commited to come back the next Sunday and to come to the Elders quorum activity
on Saturday. He actually commited to provide transportation. He just
seemed very natural there in the church. He just fit in. He seems very
prepared. I've got high hopes for hims. We'll see what happens.
I'm getting more experience
teaching in a class format here. I teach the Gospel Principles class here.
Teaching in a class format doesn't seem to be one of my natural talents. But,
each week, the class goes a little bit better. I'd like to stay here another
change. I'm learning so much. We've got a week and a half left in this change.
I guess just have to wait and see what the Lord has in store for me.
I love you all!
